O‘ahu Writers Retreat

Aloha! Please consider joining us in November for a two-day retreat after Thanksgiving: Saturday 11/25 and Sunday 11/26, 10 am to 5 pm. The workshop is led by me, Connie Hale, and each day includes a morning session, lunch, and two afternoon sessions. Special guest instructors will join us each day.

NOTE: The spring retreat will be held April 22-28, 2024. Registration opens January 6, 2024.

Registration consists of both completing the enrollment form below and paying (make sure to click through to the Purchase page). We cannot hold a spot for you without those two steps.

Contribution for scholarships: Each year we try to provide scholarships to emerging writers in Hawai‘i. If you’d like to donate, please let us know through the Contact page. We’ll apply all donations towards scholarships for worthy island writers.

Regarding transportation and lodging (for April): The fees do not include airfare to Hawai‘i. We will help to coordinate one shuttle van from the airport on Monday morning, but we cannot guarantee transport out to Mokulē‘ia. You may want to rent a car, but that should not be necessary. The fees for the retreat include food, workshops, and activities. Some fee plans already include rooming in the workshop lodge. Otherwise, lodging is available at separate cost in nearby areas.
