Aloha! Please consider joining us for a mini-retreat on November 29 - 30, 2025.
You are invited for Saturday only, Sunday only, or for both days. Saturday features generative writing with Connie Hale and a special workshop with fiction writer, Tom Gammarino. Sunday focuses on polishing your work and includes an arty break with poet and watercolor artist, Tamara Leiokanoe Moan. Lunch is included both days.

Enrollment consists of both completing the Registration form below and paying. We cannot hold a spot for you without those two steps. Saturday or Sunday only is $120; both Saturday and Sunday together are $200. If you would like to pay through Venmo, send payment to [at]Constance-Hale-2. Discounts are available based on need. Contribution for scholarships: We are committed to keeping the retreat affordable for working writers, even when inflation drives up costs. In addition, we provide scholarships to emerging writers in Hawai‘i. We cannot do either without financial support from the larger community. If you’d like to donate, please add any amount to your payment or contact us directly. We’ll apply all donations towards scholarships. (Select contribution amount at the bottom of the form below.)

Regarding transportation and lodging (for November): The fees for the retreat include food, workshops, and activities, but not lodging or airfare to Hawai‘i. Lodging is available at separate cost in nearby areas.
