O‘ahu Writers Retreat

Aloha! Please consider joining us in November each year for a mini-retreat, the weekend after Thanksgiving. You are invited for Saturday only, or for both days. Saturday includes a morning session, lunch, and two afternoon sessions. Sunday encompasses one long session, one short one, and a light lunch. The workshop is led by Connie Hale, and special guest instructors will join us. Registration opens in September, when you can use the form below to purchase a ticket.

NOTE: The spring retreat will be held April 21-27, 2025. Registration opens January 15, 2025.

Registration consists of both completing the enrollment form below and paying (make sure to click through to the Purchase page). We cannot hold a spot for you without those two steps.

Contribution for scholarships: Each year we try to provide scholarships to emerging writers in Hawai‘i. If you’d like to donate, please let us know through the Contact page. We’ll apply all donations towards scholarships for worthy island writers.

Regarding transportation and lodging (for April): The fees for the retreat include food, workshops, and activities, but not airfare to Hawai‘i. Some fee plans include rooming in the lodge. Lodging is available at separate cost in nearby areas.
